Dr. Wellington S. Tsai graduated with a B.Sc. in Biology and B.A. in Asian Studies from the University of Michigan and received several post-graduate
degrees from North Carolina State University (M.Sc. in Physiology) and University of Michigan (M.S. in Cellular Molecular Biology). He later graduated with a D.M.D.
from the UMDNJ and completed his residency training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC). During his residency program, he won awards for research and also published in dental journals.
Throughout his academic and scientific career, Dr. Tsai has published numerous scientific journals and has guest lectured at several scientific meetings. Dr. Tsai also holds a position
as an attending dentist and serves as the director of dental research at the JSUMC Dental Department. At the hospital, he has received recognition for being awarded with several investigators
initiated grants as well as publications in peer reviewed dental journals.
Dr. Tsai's background as an educator, scientist, and physician gives him the ability to understand and treat patients with complex dental conditions. He is caring and always puts the patients comfort above everything else. Dr. Tsai is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association, and Monmouth Ocean County Dental Society. In his spare time, Dr. enjoys collecting coins and stamps and is very slowly building a collection in coins. Due to his background as a comparative endocrinologist, he also enjoys raising fish. |
